TOUR DE BARENTS GATHERS THE TOP SKIERS OF THE WORLD

The number of participants in the Tour de Barents is limited to 50 athletes in both men’s and women’s events. 30 places are reserved for the Top World Cup skiers and 20 for the Top Scandinavian and Russian skiers.

In each individual stage there is an additional quota for the five best local talents. Local skiers are elected by regional branches of National Ski Associations. Local skiers do not participate in the overall Tour de Barents but they compete equally for daily prizes and bonus prizes.
