RULES AND PRIZES

Athletes must take part in all five Tour de Barents Stages. Disqualification in one race will lead to rejection from the rest of the Tour de Barents.

The winner of the overall Tour de Barents is the athlete with the best overall time score after all five stages. A top 30 placing in the Sprint race will earn bonus seconds, which are then subtracted from the actual race time.

Tour de Barents offers very lucrative cash prizes for the athletes. The ten best skiers in the overall Tour de Barents and the top three in daily races will receive cash prizes. In addition, there are bonus cash prizes for the fastest skiers at designated intermediate points.
