RULES AND PRIZES

The overall Tour de Barents 2010 consists of four Stages. There are two classes: adults (Tour de Barents) and juniors born in 1990 or later (Junior Tour de Barents).

Athletes who compete for the victory of the overall Tour de Barents must take part in all four stages.

In Stage 4 at final race, first will start the competitor, who has smalest overall time from Stages 1-3. The winner of the overall Tour de Barents is the athlete, male and female, who comes first to the finish. 

It is also possible to take part only in individual Stages. These athletes compete for daily prizes but not for the overall prizes.

There will be substantial money prizes for the ten best skiers in the overall Tour de Barents. In addition, top 3 of each Stage will be awarded daily money prizes. 

There are also money prizes in Junior Tour de Barents.
